I would only ride this trail on a 300cc 2-stroke Enduro or a modified trials bike! Have backpacked it, ridden/walked it on MTN bike.

I’ve really enjoyed both the adv and dirt bike series. One question though…in the down hill section you discuss braking, no braking and clutch. I’m curious about gear selection for the appropriate amount of engine braking. Thanks!
@dominikjankowski529710 күн бұрын
Great tips. Been working on that and I’m able to raise the wheel but once it’s up I can’t force my mind to lean backwards, which results in only short wheelies. The last stage is the most difficult: it’s either the panic mode with the clutch out and backflipping or the body unwilling to lean back. 😂 Cheers!

Sir, Why are you not making like this video.

When your over 60, your not going to want to break your back bending over, and using your knees... if when your younger, your $ going be used chasing women, than spending it on your tyre changing. If your like me.. you will spend $ to make it easier, with any type of trye changer you can afford.. I personally bought a Rabaconda. Don't drink, don't smoke and don't gamble.. and keep women (the worst gamble) away from your bank account.. you will have all the money you can save, to do what you need to.

Hi Chris, I'm in trouble to buy a 890 Adventure S and a 690 Enduro, what do you think about that? I'm in trouble because the first one is a bit heavy for a singletrack! What do you think?
@ChrisBirchNZ16 күн бұрын
@@leonardorossi5004 personally I much prefer the twins for adv riding. If I was going to go for a single cylinder I would rather set up a 500.

We do this on the west coast of US, there's a log jam every 50 yards though, so it's very efforty and ain't nobody doing it on a large bike.

Freakin awesome!!! Such excellent instruction from somebody that obviously, completely knows his $hit on a dirtbike, this instructional video is to me, a life long rider now 50 yrs of age, absolutely invaluable information!! While I certainly do have some well developed skills, wheelies have always been a weak point in my riding. It's not that I don't get my front wheel in the air on the reg for obstacles etc. but I have never been comfortable keeping that wheel high up in the air. Now I understand why!! And I know just what to do and how to work on overcoming my weakness in this particular skill. I'm so much looking forward to practicing and developing this new skill along with enhancing, maybe even fine polishing several other skills with the aid of this invaluable instruction... Thank you so very much Chris Burch for making this information, your skills, available to the rest of us!! It is SO very much appreciated!
