Mine is stuck so much worse then that one with out the plug on it even. On top of that i can get the clack bolt to unscrew either!

When you mentioned the plug could be unscrewed, I went back in and tried that before tackling anything underneath. The top unscrewed, and the assembly pulled out, and the sink immediately drained. A 91 year old gent is immensely grateful!
