i am working on something that is very similar to this except I want the submenu to appear on hover actually stay visible if user navigates their mouse in the submenu but instead it disappears bcuz technically, their mouse is no longer hovering over the original trigger. goal: mouse enters trigger or mouse hovering over trigger -> opens overlay. mouse leaves or no longer hovering -> closed overlay UNLESS user is hovering over overlay. any solutions?

Hi Femi, great clip. I did everything in this video (mine is a carousel of logos, not logos, yet it’s not working. What could be the reason why?

A very good tutorial but I'm wondering why one would do it with variables if it looks like taking more time than the old way. Except the space saving of course.

amazing video! helped me out a ton. I have a question: Im doing the same sort of thing here but adding a payment button that should reset all item counts to 0 and basically start over the process to default. its not working and I would love some guidance and though on how I could make this work!
@jacksontuttle520211 күн бұрын
ive tried setting item count to 0 but it only sets the first item to 0 but keeps all the other items added to the cart. thats my main issue thanks!

I like how you html marked up the header. There is some unnecessary repetition of some css properties like font-sizes and weight and font family that could be gathered in a h1, h2, ....h6 grouped in one css rule. I wonder why you didnt use body element and add a global rule like font family ...background color ...etc. I think people need to know using % and rem is better than px to make elements responsive. I like the way to work. Thanks for your time.

If you are looking to build HTML and CSS website. Then yes you should watch this. Becasue this is a real world website that will be published live.

Before watching the whole video I appreciate if you could confirm if this project is a real world project or just for learning for beginners!?
@femijohn20 күн бұрын
It is a real world project. But if you are looking for a more complex and dynamic web applications. you should look for something that includes JavaScript, Like React.

First of all. Good video.👍 I would like you to increase the font sizes of your vscode editor since you are using a large screen monitor. It's kinda difficult to see since they appear tiny and slightly unreadable when the video is not at 1080p. If you were using a laptop it would not be a problem. Just my contribution 👏
