No disrespect!!! I love the smoothness, but I'm from North Carolina and this seems more like our gravel bike courses. Our MTB courses are full of roots, rocks, jumps and sometimes a creek crossing. Still, love the video posting .

Looks great! The only part I think that could be confusing based on this video is at about 4:25, it looks like there is a hard right curve but you go straight. I'm not sure if its more obvious to go straight in person but in the video it seems like the path turns right.

Perfect cross country trail Derek ! You really did a wonderful job tuning up that trail. It is a perfect trail for a hard tail or light trail bike or even a Light E BIKE like a Mondraker NEAT !

Do you recommend riding this trail on a hardtail or full suspension ?
@gregoryastonalexander6480Ай бұрын
Hello Derek. I like your idea for the Grizzly in November.
@gregoryastonalexander6480Ай бұрын
The course is definitely hardball friendly. Once you learn the course a full suspension is gentler to the kidneys on the descents. It is easy to make up some time on a lap by descending faster with more suspension. It is easier to climb with a bike that weights less in theory... However being comfortable on a bike you are familiar with can motivate you to turn faster laps lol!

I had a similar experience, it seems like most of the gravel races in SoCal are MTB races posing as "gravel". All that rocky singletrack near the end was brutal!
@chadwells75623 ай бұрын
Thats’s because SoCal doesn’t really have “gravel” roads like they do in other parts of the country. Except in the Antelope Valley and a few other extremely desolate type places.

Koretzky was too tired to see the proper inside line there to defend. In any other bike discipline, even road sprint, Pidcock's move would be considered legal and clean.

Thanks for the slowmo - shows that it was a clean pass. If anything, Koretzky may have been trying to shut down Tom's line and came in at too much of an angle.

Got a fully built Mondraker Podium Carbon a few months ago, it’s amazing. XL and weighs 23 lbs with pedals, my road bike is 20! I could probably lighten it up by 2-3 pounds as well if I wanted to spend the money.

use a shimano dura ace 9270 rear brake caliper. you can pair it with shimano or magura or trickstuff brake levers, its the lightest one, has extra clearance. i use it with a adapter at the front as well at no extra weight to fit a 180 rotor.

Can you rent some big fans? Any pressboard cabinets will absorb the water and expand as well the dry wall. The faster you can dry it the better chance you won't have to do mold remediation.
