Back in the day Guitar Player had their Gallery of the Greats. 5 consecutive annual wins got you in. Steve Howe & Steve Morse amongst the honourees in the Best Overall Guitarist category. Once achieving the GoG honours, players no longer eligible. Not sure if it’s still a thing

Should da been the main act! I like def leppard but they are nothing compared to the scorpions, globally the scorpions are way bigger than def leppard!

You lucky ducklings alot of us Aussies missed out as they cancelled both Melbourne & Sydney who knows if they will ever come back to Australia ever again. I wish they would be the main act and do a full set in Australia and play their best songs such as Bad Boys Running Wild, Holiday, In Trance, and last but not least Well Burn the Sky!

What a fantastic show. Such shame that useless rag the New Zealand Herald couldn’t be bothered to review it. Utterly shameful for a newspaper that typically reports on the opening of a paper bag if there’s a tenuous NZ connection. Instead we’re treated to page after page of breathless gushing on Taylor Swift or that kiwi non-event Lorde. Both acts that played last night have individually outsold both those millennial wannabes.
