Maam, I did get NIFT Banglore MDes (through a bit of reservation quota) but I made a mistake in my bachelors which led to credit shortage for graduation and they said they can give me degree only in December'24 but NIFT's doc submission is in September, what should I do now? NIFT BLR said they will only take it in September. so would taking a drop & trying for Delhi/Mumbai would be better?

It would be helpful to prefer A4 size sketchbooks while preparing, dear. Since the NIFT exam also provides A4 sheets, practicing with them from now on can be very beneficial.

Hii dii I have doubt.. Like now I am in my 12 grade and nift ke forms niklte hai around oct/nov or exam jan/Feb hote hai and same 12 board exam Feb mid hote hai and results April Tak niklte hai so my doubt is ki nift ke exam abhi deskti hu within 12 ya after 12 du like mtlb abhi Jo nift exam hoga vo jan 2025 hoga or 12 board bhi Feb 2025 hoga so should I give my nift exam in jan 2025 or should I give my nift exam in jan 2026?? I am soo confused please guide me as everyone is saying 12 ke baad nift dete hai and koi keh raha hai sath mai dedo please clear my doubt

Hello dear, You are eligible to sit for the NIFT entrance exam while you are in your 12th grade. Even if you have not yet completed your 12th board exams, you can apply for provisional admission. This provisional status allows you to submit your board exam results later. Therefore, you do not need to wait until after your 12th grade to take the NIFT exam. If you are certain about pursuing a career in design, we strongly recommend that you begin your preparation now. Aiming to clear the NIFT entrance examination on your first attempt will help you avoid taking a gap year for further preparation. In B.F.Tech Common Merit Rank:1070 Category merit Rank:220 In B.Des Common Merit Rank:8458 Category Merit Rank:2396 In grade 12 I took Bio Mat (PCM) Before submission of registration.,it is shown that I am eligible for both B.F.Tech and B.Des But after my registration process in counselling, It is showing that I am only eligible for B.Des.. I took bio maths for 12th grade, I am applying for bftech in nift and In counseling process while selecting the 5 subjects,there is no option for applying maths as a subject so i choose other option and wrote subject as maths and submitted. But now in my candidate profile, stream wise it is said that i am not elligible for bftech. What should i do? I emailed nift but no reply.

I faced a similar problem, but then i realized that i had to select Physics for the first blank then Mathematics in second or vice versa order. Try to edit it this way. Then put biology or chemistry as the last subject/ other option
