Tip is to hold the funnel up a little so you get airflow to pour the oil faster.

I have a 2018 Brutale 800RR. Every time the bike isn't ridden for a week or three, the rear brake starts to get long pedal travel. It'll only work when pumped a lot of times. Therefore in my opinion, it doesn't have anything to do with heat, rather than physics. Air is being introduced into the system by a lack of backpressure if you ask me. I just ordered all the kit I need to relocate my reservoir according to an MV service bulletin.

I know anyone with an F3 has the issue. Who needs rear brakes anyways :) On a track it's all fronts unless there's an emergency :) Email me that bulletin, would be interested in seeing that. My email is found in any of the video descriptions.

On this day I put my power commander 5 in from my street bike with the Hindle tune. Other than that a new DID chain, and some heavier weight fork oil in the front and lowered about 1".

Do you need to replace the rod aswell or is their a way to remove the shifter lever from the rod?

You can disconnect the shift linkage by loosing the lock nuts on the rod, and just turn the rod one way or the other.

Hey mate, I'm doing the same conversion. From what I can tell they look the same, just different spacers? Have you tried fitting the fz6r rim?

@@HoranoPatoromo No i havent. The front axle on an r6 is different than the fz6r. Don't think you can do it but let me know if it works.

hi ride the 6. i`m trying to remove the cowling above the headlight but cannot find any info. you have just removed the blue one on your bike but the only fastening you mention is the rubber plug in the middle of the cowel. can you give me a rundown on how to do this please.

Hey man im looking to do the same thing to my fz6r. i do have the 1.5 riser clipons drom wood crazy and wost case i can get the original r6 clippons. Im following the trail of how to so this but im confused about the top triple tree. Since i have clip ons then i wont be needing that special plate you got correct? Not sure if you did a final update in the 600 forums.

Ya it started to sprinkle too and since no one probably had rains on they pulled us off. I have a another little video coming full lap.. but again my camera malfunctioned.

I've been riding an FZ6R for almost ten years. I love it. Put a tall windscreen on it, Corbin seat, LED headlight, new handlebar grips, good tires...Its my poor mans sport tourer. Keep the videos coming.

Whatever works. Even the dealer said to me it's all the same. I do find some shift better than others but at the end of a day they are all lubricants.
