The schtick of this movie did not get as tired as I was expecting. I actually ended up really liking the characters and found it quite funny. Not a classic by any means but a decent little comedy.

Excellent point. It is a schtick but it still works out well. Fun little film that is being brushed by I am afraid.

I agree that the film's writing was lacking cohesion within the movie. There was also lack of character development for the mother daughter pair.

India has strict animal rights laws with regards using in movies. Therefore the movie makers are required to mention that no animals were harmed. They have to use CGI for animals.

I thought you weren't going to mention the early 90's 90210 heart throb Luke Perry who died of a stroke 2019. Also, a small roll for Lee Evans who went on after this roll to a great comedic performances in "Mouse Hunt" and "There's something about Mary".

Actually this film wasn't made keeping in mind the global audience as it's a particular genre from India for the common masses. India makes all kinds of films across genres, even serious cinema with the existence of various industries and languages. Common stereotypes about Indian films that are wrong: 1) all indian films have song and dance 2) all indian movies are over the top and bombastic 3) Indian cinema is a very small film industry. Not at all. It's a huge deal in India and does better business here than Hollywood movies barring big hollywood blockbusters This film might promote certain stereotypes that the west holds about Indian cinema but it celebrates and embraces it. Imagine a non hollywoo viewer watching Transformers, a few clips from she Hulk, a few clips from some b movies say like brain damage or something like that and thinks "oh this is Hollywood" which is again like a gross over generalization of the Hollywood film industry. Same applies to India

SARDAR UDHAM (2021) is the best bollywood movie ever made (highly critically acclaimed). IMDB 8.4. 94% ROTTEN TOMATOES Mark my words you will not forget this movie. **It will break your stereotype regarding indian movies that they are only song and dance and fun.** **It will change your top 10 movie list of all times.** One of the most important films ever made. Very much grounded and realistic. If you like artistic and mature Cinema , you should definitely checkout. You'll be blown away in a weird way. You'll experience the new dimension of Indian Cinema. THANK YOU Brother.

Great episode. I agree with Mike - 5 out of 5 reels for 300. It's a perfect movie. Gerard Butler IS the movie. It's the most masculine performance ever captured on film. His raw unapologetic machismo is something few actors could manage. Also the greatest male physique in modern times. The extent of sculpting that he achieved on his body is unsurpassable. He was a literal greek god in this movie in every sense of the term - looks and performance. Regarding the CGI - sure it is dated but what protects the movie is its otherwordly tone. It plays like a dream sequence - everything is exaggerated & nothing is real life. Iff you look at it like that - the visuals all make sense in their slightly rough hewn off kilter quality. Overall fantastic film. They just don't make em like this any more.
