That's very decent performance from the little 3060 Ti at 1440p indeed. But I was told 8GB VRAM is not enough for 1440p??

HDR is unusable on this monitor because of black crush. All LG monitors (and I have yet to find any example of any OLED monitor that is any better) have bad HDR. Yes you can display some HDR demos and be like "wow!" but its still incorrect image and games might look amazing but still not correct and this of course translates to at places not seeing stuff. As for 48GQ900 it has severe black crush in Gamer1 and Gamer2 and rest of the modes have sheetload of "black stabilizer" which doesn't fix issue as much as makes EOCT curve completely broken and image looks extremely washed out. Otherwise panel is amazing and with PC it is possible to tweak GPU settings to get good image quality but it is borhersome as hell and totally not straightforward and most users will just assume HDR in given game or movie is broken and not that monitor has bad HDR. This monitor (and most other OLEDs, including from LG) has bad HDR implementation. SDR is quite good though and not much complaints here except idiotic decission to add one frame of input lag in sRGB mode despite it being arbitrary decission as controller doesn't need to add this lag.

the core components were around $370-380 the fluctuate and then a hundred bucks for the gpu though I traded for this one that's what they are going for so $470-480 all in

Yeah, that's very decent considering the gaming experience. You'll get people saying you can buy a PS5 for that money that is slightly more powerful and has RT, but at $500 for this PC you get very close to PS5 performance, and it's good not only for gaming. I think something like this is great for someone trying to get into PCs and mess around a bit.

@@Mostly_Positive_Reviews exactly it's very close and at times you can have a better experience and most importantly you can have the experience you want not what Sony give you want 1080p 120 instead of 1440p no problem want to use it to creat,educate etc no problem and I still think the core config could accommodate a more powerful gpu and B550 is also accommodating

@@pcgameshardware867 Yeah, smooth as silk lathered with melted butter. For a Ryzen 4500 and RX 5700 it's amazing for a 2024 PC port. I wish all games ran like that. I would even be okay with a lower framerate, just give us consistent frametimes!

I wish this game would implement DLSS. The game runs a perfect 60 most of the time without RT, but upscaling with RT would be appreciated. That said, this GPU is still extremely good, and I'm always impressed by that little Ryzen 4500!

yea I doubt from soft ever will they make great game but the technical side of them has always been their week point. There was really no reason not to put in DLSS and FSR when they added " ray tracing" haha yea the little engine that could huh

It's strange how blurry and unsharp they made this game look. I turned everything on max and motion blur dlss and all that stuff off and I just couldn't get a crisp image on 1440p. Looked to me like resolution scale was not 100%. Even tried to modify engine.ini, but no suscess. Its a shame because this game hast the potential to look amazing.

A trick i always utilize if i feel like the graphics for a game is not the way i want it to be, is to install ReShade and make a custom reshade filter for the game. For almost all my games i use custom sharpness filters through reshade.

Thanks for the video ! If you can, do a test for us at 3k (3200/1800) with dlss quality, I believe it will run at maximum and at good rates... I think that at 4k at maximum it will be too much for the 3060ti

Nobody uses ultra to play, it only serves to test the capacity of the PC components, always play on high, ultra consumes too many resources for the little graphical difference it offers.@@anas-zd9iz

4K 100 fps is indeed very decent! The VRAM for sure helps as this game likes to use as much as it can. What do you think about the changes so far in the game?

ugh man there are SO many changes since back around launch like it's pretty crazy and I'm still trying to wrap my head around them all but so far so good the xp grind seems to have taken a chill and my understanding is the loot drop has been nerfed in favor of better quality drops less trash idk but yea so far so good except the ray-tracing which is a complete nothingburger like seriously feels like a check box to keep nvidia off their back due to pre-game advertising having mentioned it a token implementation at best

@@pcgameshardware867 Yeah, back when RT was introduced in this game I had a look and the shadows might look slightly darker, and the reflections maybe slightly better, but the performance hit is massive! Definitely not worth it. Give us RTGI at leas for that performance hit!!

60-90 fps even with frame generation in this game is actually quite okay as it's a slower-paced game and latency isnt that big of a deal, especially if you play on a controller. Good video bud 👍

Mhmm.... just off the top I would try 1080p med as a starting point obviously without any of the ray-tracing settings I believe the game uses FSR or XeSS should you need them but yea 1080p med preset and see how it plays out cheers thanks for stopping by the channel

Yea without it the game very briefly on occasion will drop into the upper 50's then pop on back up so it's happening only a fraction of the time and not needed an aggressive implementation

DRS in this game is pretty good. You can get away with 60fps on a lot of GPUs with DRS enabled. It's also quite responsive, meaning it wont drop below 58fps for a long time before it adjusts the resolution.

Yea and what I thought was cool was it could hold without it 95% of the time if not it would dip to 55-57 etc then pop back up so DRS would only kick in a fraction of the time I think that's probably the ideal situation for it

3060 Ti does pretty well with DLSS Quality enabled. This game doesnt have very high frame rates at native with many GPUs, so upscaling is definitely required for the majority of them, so 60 fps average give or take at 1440p High is really not bad at all!

Happens to me all the time hahaha! I actually had to delete my one video as people didnt believe it wasnt a 6900 XT because afterburner said it was a 6900 XT. Very few people know you can change the name to whatever you want.

How does the game feel to you? I personally thought it felt a bit weird, but I only tested it on Nvidia GPUs so far, and many other people are claiming it feels the same as Avatar, where the frames arent interpolated correctly.

yes, the powercolor fighter does support silent fan feature.

neeeeed dlss in this fucking game it would be so good. Im running a 3060ti and 5800x3d. have to play on my 1440p monitor but with dlss i could play on my 4k oled. Hope they add this shit every game nowadays has either dlss or fsr2. So sad this game cant do it wtf are they even doing.

Starting from texture quality going down high,high,high,med,med,med,high,on,on,high,med,med,med,med,on, depth of field off ,1440p native res scale 2080s 12700K with a slight overclock on P & E cores hope this helps

I’m down in the low settings to get 40 my fps drops to single digits on native scaling And even went down to 2550x1080 from 3560x1440 I only have a 3900x so I’m wondering if it’s a cpu limitation that I’m hitting
