LeBron makes sense Phoenix has always been THE spot that NBA players come to die. The Suns FO has a lot of LeBron friends, I'm thinking they're just doing him a solid to scare the Lakers into blowing that draft pick on Bronny.

@haydotzero3372Күн бұрын
What does it matter to Gilbert if Lebron comes here or not? You act like Lebron is leaving Cleveland to come to the Suns. He is not in his prime anyway. Besides Cleveland made it to the second round while we got put out the first round

Trading your starting center for bench players = step backward. The trade Nurk after his good season would make sense if anyone valued him, but no one does so you are going to have to pay someone to take him away. What does that gain you - not enough cap space to be worth it.

Nepotism is a bad thing. But LBJ would fix alot of problems for this team. Leadership most importantly.
@sirbarles48084 күн бұрын
Do you remember when Suns played Hornets? Didn't Mr Voita say that Nick Richards did not look like an NBA player compared to Nurk? (if it was EJ or sb else not Mr Voita then I'm sorry, but some1 def said it and they were right). Giddy? You identify one of your problems as lack of athletic wing - he is not that. If you do that trade you maintain playmaking but give up rebounding and you lose ability to put an athletic wing on the floor because you need a center out there... and you gain nothing.... defensive and shooting liability... I love you guys but all these trades are just moves out of necessity of doing something, but they do nothing significant... If it was not about basketball and the Suns, but about something that you actually care about, like your family, your health, your house - would you think it is a good idea to fill holes by making new ones? If you want to fix this team, trade away something you have abundance of. One of the 3. You can't trade Beal, you don't want to trade Booker... Trade the fucking Wet Noodle or remain in purgatory untill he kindly decides to leave on his own.
@SunsJAM4 күн бұрын
You’ve seen the point of the trades: that the market for what you get in return does add the value needed. Therefore, you keep Nurk.
@myozimandis4 күн бұрын
The only thing that the suns need to do in a Nurk trade scenario is filling the gap on the rebounding end. He is a very good rebounder and is the ONLY rebounder on the whole roaster. His lack of rebounding in the playoffs killed Phoenix.
@Lcaz86164 күн бұрын
Possible trade Nurk. We should keep Book, Durant, Beal, and Allen in the starting lineup. We do need to get younger and more athletic off the bench. Add James Wiseman as our backup center, Killian Hayes as our backup point guard, and Emoni Bates as a backup wing. Also try and bring back Kelly Oubre Jr and a vet off the bench.
@trevorgreer29044 күн бұрын
Nurkic has to go. You can't play successfully with such a liability on BOTH ends.
@b4Sed15934 күн бұрын
The espn guy that Phnx had on comes to mind. And how he mentioned a potential loophole to trade Nurkic to essentially get below 2nd apron. A world could exist where you can do a sign and trade for Lebron and give Lakers Beal. That way Lebron still gets paid and Suns draft Bronny. Lebron-Booker-Oneale-KD-??? (Center would probably come via a Allen trade)

Instead of getting more defense and rebounding, they decided to go for more scoring. And this is the consequence of their actions. Basketball is more than just shooting.

Its a such nonsense to say 'you make that trade 100/100 times'. Your or mine opinion is one thing but there also are facts. And it's a fact that the trade was not made for a very long time. That offer was on the table for like 8 months? If it was such a no brainer why didn't they do it immediatelly? I know coiginitive dissonance is difficult to manage sometimes but at least try to be objective :-)
