ACTUALLY the reason why Kurt used easier chords is because he wasn’t really a guitar player,he was just a vocalist he didn’t know anything about guitar he just found out that’s why the chords are easier

He was far from a technical player, but to say he didn’t know anything about guitar is crazy. He probably didn’t study theory and scales, but he definitely had an intuitive understanding of them.
