SO YOU DONT FIND WHAT IT THE SAME WAY. You have to find what accesses it not writes to it. The tutorial they got is wrong lol

Not sure what's up, but I got to this stage, found the pointers back to the static address, but when I tried to set the value to 5000, freeze it, then change pointer, it throws an exception and/or crashes. Based on the tutorial wording, I thought that meant I had to change pointer first then set to 5000 and freeze in 3 seconds, which is kind of impossible using a media keyboard with touchpad. So either way, it's good to know I essentially did it right, but for whatever reason the tutorial crashes. Excellent video

I'm not getting the 1 1 / 2 2 thing. I see the one where HAL has 3 and everyone else has 4 but there is not a thing where the players have 1 and the computers have 2. I don;t even know what that thing is called tbh but it seems pretty necessary to finish this step.

yeah, looks like the tutorial got changed a bit. I just hit the same roadblock and I think that the team number (the 1,1/2,2) is just hidden behind a pointer or something, (the 4,4,3,4 values are something else completely and aren't used in the tutorial). If I find the will to actually look for the solution, I will update you on that

hello, i want to ask about this. i found similar case like this about shared opcode, but the opcode write to different function, ex: hp, mp, sp, speed, velocity, etc. how to determine the correct address from instructions? thanks in advance

THis is prob in Vain but holy shit im gonna lose it. I always get to Health level 2, when I then click on "Find out what accesses this pointer" and click on Change value nothing shows up

Thanks for the tutorial video, I understand that we are looking for the static pointer but I don't see how it's supposed to be useful. I tried to freeze the value but it still changes every time I clicked on the change value button. What should I do to be able to freeze the values like in previous tutorial?

How do you find the value in the disassemble window that is responsible for the change of the value there are tens of thousands of values and you don't really explain how you found it.
