Shocking to see one exactly like mine, from fairing to bags to color. Have mine since I bought it 20 years ago with only 13k miles. Garaged all these years. Not many chance to ride in the Portland OR weather. Considering parting with it.

Do you have trouble with your squeegees not staying at the angle you set?

Funkrushplus right outside Buffalo, NY. Machine is mostly a beast, but the squeegee sliding back to 30 when we set it to 20 is very annoying. They sent us all knew squeegee holders which greatly improved it, but it's still a bad design. Nothing holds the angle except for smooth metal on metal. We've had our Volt for 5 months. What's your go-to white ink with yours?

Funkrushplus ever use international coatings cool white? Tends to wad up in middle of squeegee and then won't flood properly. Also seems to become unusable and pasty with about 1/3 left. Do yuh use winged or straight flood bars?

I didnt I swotched to premix. Better because many great 2 stroke oils you cant use with the oil injection. Also its full proof , er no pump failures is gonna cause you hundreds in top end work.

I know this is an old video and hope it makes it to you. My wife’s 72 r5 might need a top end rebuild. It runs pretty good but wanting more out of it. Converting to the reed heads from the Rd worth the switch. It will cost about 260$ for a stock top end rebuild. Are cost to rebuild reeds and piston with the rd cheaper? Just want to chit chat about the bike .

There is no ground on the brushes, they should be both green, one brings 12volt to top brush[ ,, this magnitizes the rotor, ,the other green runs back to rectifier. and your missing the plastic insulator washers, the screws or terminals ,must not touch casing, = short

I'm considering buying one. I live in the Los Angeles, California, area. I want to ask what it was like in stop and go traffic? Could it cruise at a nice 75 - 80 MPH on the freeway? ( My previous bike was a Ducati Paso which was horrible in stop and go traffic, but could easily cruise at higher speeds on the freeway).

The LH green and black wires are insulated from the stator housing by a rubber bush and fibre washer much like the live side of the points are insulated from the other side. Both those wires touch each other but they are insulated from the fixing screw and bracket. All you are doing if you don't insulate them is earthing out the live side
@richarddegen6184
@richarddegen6184 Жыл бұрын
this just solved my problem, some dumbass installed the green wire so it contacted the stator housing , grounding out the black brush wire

I have this older bike it's a 1971 Yamaha CT 175. My motor when it's revved up it will vibrate the whole bike. when riding it it's not comfortable going over 25. it's rpm related because I can have it in neutral and in a parked position. I'm thinking maybe crank bearings? or maybe rod bearings? if you know that could really help. thanks

The other spark plug location was originally for a decompress valve. thankfully these were super easy to kick over so many times it was removed and replaced with another spark plug.
