I just installed my metalcloak fenders about a week ago. I guess your video popped up because of all the searches i did. But i think metalcloak intentionally leaves that hole out for the light wiring grommet. Mine is an 04 and didn't even have the grommet. But the 2 holes at the very front top of the inner fender are where you can run the new wires for the pod lights and tuck them up nice and clean. Yours looks great, here's how I did mine. kzbin.info65pG-Y1SxTc?feature=shared

Just thinking about it. Did you consider hooking the seaflo washdown pump just to your Livewell so you could get faster fill up in the Livewell and be able to have sufficient wash down pressure ? Now you have 2 pumps to maintain 2 seperate switches etc? Just curious of the cons.
@davidlooye76607 ай бұрын
Filling the livewell that fast would probably kill what I had in there. Seaflo pumps are easy to repair and aside from fresh rinse of the filters, not much maintenance

lol. fullsize trucks are so wide inside its not possible to put the volume knob in a location that's easily accessible for both driver and passenger- if they centered it, it would suck for both and obviously it makes the most sense for the driver to reach it.

Couple questions Did standard cruise control remain an option that you can toggle back n forth for 2023? Automatic high beam dimming remain? Engine brake shines on a drive with cruise control and rolling hills for sure. Truck kept my 4000lb load right at the set speed. Camera views staying on longer is a nice change over the 2022.5 models which only stay on for a short time. Wish an update would change this. Do you still have the large view of the boat on the screen when you turn left or right? Enjoy the truck!! If you really want to see boost pressure and a whole host of other data for the truck. May I suggest a Banks IDash or data monster. They are only for reading and displaying info. No changes to your trucks performance.
@davidlooye7660 Жыл бұрын
I'll do my best to answer your question. The adaptive cruise control is part of the SLT preferred package Intellibeam, auto high bean seams to be standard on the SLT So far, the engine brake has seemed to be lacking. But I have noticed that on the open road, I dont need to apply the brake much I really like being able to turn the camera on and off. Wish I could get the 360 cameras Yes, the camera seems to stay on until you toggle it off or turn the truck off Many thanks

I believe that the shifter moves to the center console when you get the option for center console and column when you don't opt for the center console. It's a $640 option on the chevy trucks to get the center console and you lose the middle seat.

For clarification, you tapped into your live well water supply? I have a very similar assembly however I keep seeing videos that are requiring me to drill a a new hole through the transom. If I can tap into the live well water supply that would be more practical. Then i keep second guessing myself - wouldn’t I have to power the live well and the wash down at the same time? Confused, lol.
@davidlooye7660 Жыл бұрын
Most Rule livewell pumps have a 1/2" plug on the water pickup coming from the seacock. Around 2:25 in the video, you'll see where I removed the 1/2 plug and installed the 1/2" male barbed adapter. Hopefully, I'm not making it more confusing. Just check your water pickup tube, it's between your livewell pump and the seacock. You have to have a access bung there, similar to the one in the link www.wholesalemarine.com/rule-livewell-pump-w-straight-pickup-tube.html
