I've got the chance of buying one off a really good friend of mine and i wouldn't trade it for nothing its so sick and the neck is something diffrent... recently also got a tornado which has a kind of similar feel to the neck 😊much love from switzerland!
@acidfuzzpedals9986Ай бұрын
Cool man. I love the necks on ~all the Italian made models, especially the 12 string & bass instruments. Nice & slim due to the reinforced "T-Bar" construction. Love the small frets as well, which don't come out of tune with open chords like other necks with larger frets. The earlier UK manufactured necks were made by a furniture company in England & feel like baseball bats to me in comparison. Much love back at you from USA✌

another great video, thanks for you work and efforts... it is very helpful. I am considering a purchase on your website but it looks like most things are sold out... Can I get on a waiting list? I am a bass player and don't use a lot of pedals anymore but I'd like to support you and what you do... open to suggestions if you have any effects laying around you want to sell? Thank, Joe

Just found your website & videos, you rock man! Thank you so much, I am watching this now and will be diving into my Sidewinder IV Bass tomorrow... Primary issue is switches are seized up but everything else is working and sounds good... I am suspecting (hoping) that it is just a bad switch and/or cap as everything "looks" clean inside... I subscribed and will dig into your other content soon. Thanks again man, all very well done, clean edits, and great communication.

Real hip !;! A friend in another band had a mid 60;;s vox white teardrop body bass with an original factory installed fuzz control. It wasn't real practical but cool. I also remember the guitar head with the tuning keys was huge. I was brought up in the Detroit downriver area. This is the only bass I ever saw like this. Good stuff ! On this channel.

I bought one back in 1972, it looked amazing and the sound features seemed awesome, but did not get happy with it, so sold it and bought a Gibson Standard instead, still do!
@charlessutton9103 Жыл бұрын
It's a pretty guitar but the tone is so over trebly I'd be parametric EQing for days looking for beef in the neck pickup. The fuzz is Cowsill-worthy (not an insult) and that square wave vibrato is decades ahead of its time. PS: can you do a demo on: 1976 BC Rich Seagull 2 forerunner of the Eagle 1958 Les Paul Jr. 3/4 scale 1958 Supro/Valco Belmont 33 Special

Говнее этой гитары я ещё не видел! Даже Тоника по прозвищу УНИТАЗ, это шедевр гитарного дизайна 😂
@acidfuzzpedals9986 Жыл бұрын

The Clientele are one of my all time favorites. Glad you noticed! I was going to start an online tablature site for their guitar parts shortly after they released Strange Geometry, but I never found/made the time. Alasdair's guitar work is beautiful & interesting.

If this instrument would hit the market in it's time, shoegaze wouldn't be a thing. It is entirely possible, that Kevin Shields built a time machine and sabotaged their production and advertisement.
