I have the Endorfy Fortis 5 cooler with one fan for about 41 euros, and the temperatures without PBO2 under maximum load in Cinebench R23 are currently 73°C at a room temperature of 20°C, as shown in my comparison in the video. And with the old cooler, the temperature was around 78°C. I just tested in R23, but the temperature test for the video was done in Cinebench 2024.

Air Coolers are more reliable, and last much longer, so they are kind of an investment. AIO has multiple points of failure, and if by chance it leaks there is a possibility of damage to your system as well.

an AIO takes spaces with the radiator and fans elsewhere in the System and most likely won't survive 10 years of usage. Lot of people still use their Noctua D15 they bought 10 years ago today without any problems. So an AIO is just more expensive and lasts shorter than a premium air cooler. AIO are only really needed for very high TDP.

I have a 5700X3D, undervolted to -30 and Asrock B550M pro4 and I just use TR Assassin Spirit 120 Dark Evo, in 1440p gaming, the load shifts to GPU, it never hits 65c in a non-aircon room playing CP2077, hovers around 54c in when the Aircon is turned on, in Alan wake II forget about it, it barely hits 50c when the AC is on

Check the length and width of the gpu, and check the clearance of your case, I made this mistake and bought the card which is very big and it didn’t fit in any of my cases

you dont need a good cooler for 5700x3d. Any low profile cooler is more than enough. All you need to do is set -25 or -30 Curve optimizer all cores.

not ALL boards have this option, not even the x470 or x570 boards, cause its a OC feature and OC dont work on older X3D. afaik only a hand full of MSI and ASUS Boards you can change the offset.

@SirTrizy. Use a software called pbo2 tuner. Dont need bios options. Set it to run everytime u start your pc with windows scheduler.

I do this on my 5800x3d. The temp and wattage decrease from PBO2 tuner -30 CO is amazing. On a b450 and I run a phantom spirit with ptm 7950. It keeps it in the mid 70s max on low fan speeds. I value the silence a lot and had pushout issues with the stock paste, hence I swapped to ptm7950.

Hi, first, excellent review. Second, just one question... is it possible to overclock the i5 12600k. You mentioned that this mb doesnt support OC, but an OC to a high end chip, as you clearly stated in the review, would be unstable. Is there any chance to Overclock the 12600kf?
