does this also work with a carbon frame ?

defiantly! This applies to all "rivnut" inserts. As long as the frame/hole hasn't been damaged from it coming loose, it should work!

Sexy flanders was rough for my hardtail, the roots n whatnot, but I loved Hutz, the little jump mound things were super fun. Any suggestions for 29er hardtail trails in Nanaimo? I live across from Westwood lake and those are alright although I havent dont a drop over 3 feet yet, and grew up in skateparks on a BMX with zero dirt jump experience. Planning on rectifying all that soon at SendAir airbags in Nanoose though. I love Fine China and Finer China at doumont, although I doubt I'm riding them properly, my bikes a monster truck.

Hey man, I have a hardtail also. Not sure what kind of forks or grips you have on your bike but that will make a difference on how the trails affect your body as it absorbs the impact. Lots of lower end hard tails even from reputable brands come with leisure cross country forks, which suck and are in no way designed for downhill.Anyway, westwood certainly has some nice hardtail friendly easy flow trails such as Binx, shenanigans, short and sweet/ short and sassy.

I have a Devinci Kobain 11s Deore, The forks are Rockshox 35 silver R, so not much adjustments. Stock Kenda Regolith 29.2.6 tires with tubes, running around 25 PSI. I dont want to run tubeless as its too much hassle, mess, costs etc. Havent had a flat yet on tubes and tubes are what I know from BMX. I actually found Pink Unicorn alot smoother of a ride and enjoyable except for the absolute upper downhill section which I dont know how anyone can ride that on any bike, the staircase of drops and whatnot seem impossible at any skill level. After that section its nice though, a small jump section, a rock roll that I'll try when we have dry weather again, currently I just repel around the side on foot because its sloppy as heck out. My other hardtail I got is a specialized P3 for the jumps, gunna try to learn that after all these years of being primarily BMX street/park, we didnt really have dirt in Qualicum beach where I grew up. @@jeffreycrow9326

I rode it on my devinci kobain hardcore hardtail last week, was good, drops seem a bit big for me to learn drops on though, I'm more worried for the frame durability than anything due to no rear suspension, but I want to stick with hardtail anyways, full suspension feels too mushy for me, I'm a bmxer still and love my big "BMX" 29er hardtail. Cheers from literally across the street from Westwood Lake, this trail is like a 20 minute ride away from my house, only because i'm still kinda slow.

Do you typically publish your first runs through or do you usually do a few practice runs first to know where the paths are going?
@sourlemonsmtb5491
@sourlemonsmtb5491 Жыл бұрын
Usually isn't the first time down the trail. The majority of my videos are of my local trails that I ride all the time. Every once and a while I stray out of my local area and I only take one run down those trails. Some trails can take up to an hour to get to the top just so I can ride down. If I don't ride those trails a lot, Its only worth it to do one lap down.

@@South_Van_Ilse_MTB take a look at 3:00 min. you wanna land to the right of the rock. if you hit the rock its not a huge deal, itll just be a little rougher of a landing cause your tires arent landing on the same transition.
