What happened to the closet door?

Millersville University changed their firearms policy along with several other Pennsylvania universities. Someone who has legally obtained a firearm and a Pennsylvania License for Concealed Carry (CCW) can now have a firearm on their person while outdoors on campus property or secured inside their automobile. You still cannot carry into university buildings or possess a firearm during university sanctioned events. I personally believe this is a step in the right direction because an armed campus makes us a difficult target for shootings. I myself personally had a firearm during my time at Millersville and I know students and staff that had them too. Hopefully they will consider revising their policies further to include campus carry. Several states have already allowed for it and so far, none of those colleges or universities have been the target of recent shootings. This idea really works well.

Nice bottom brass! I was half of the Millersville tuba section back in 1972, still playing in 2020.

What a difference from my years at Millersville (1968-72). Back then only a concert band, marching band, chorus & choir. They had no music major, no orchestra, no jazz band & no ensembles. Millersville gave out a graduation award to 1 man and 1 women contributing to the (small) music department. I got the Cora Bitner Music Award in 1972 as a math major who played tuba and Dr. Fisher (Music Dept. head) nominated me to PA Collegiate Band. Since then I have continuously been playing music in public including tuba, tenor sax, keyboards in a wedding band and amateur church organist.

Moorish-American being a nationality which is a noun rather than "black," which is a adjective describing 'something dead, unconscious, evil, etc. You clearly displayed your understanding between the 2 in the lecture obviously due to your involvement in the Moorish Science Temple of America. I just thought it would have been a good opportunity to inform the audience of who we really are as Moors who's back round is historically rich rather than the brand name 'black' which is limited in scope and was particularly applied to our people during the time of slavery in the Americas.
