Love Quinn as a Texas fan. He really can make most of the throws really well outside of the deep ball at times but those are low percentage plays regardless. My issue with him is when things go off script he usually sacks himself

Least? It’s the Number 1 NFL MARKET in the league, has a roster that’s actually pretty good if you two clowns actually paid attention all season. The biggest issue was coaching, they got rid of saleh who was terrible BUT his inept coaching staff was still here and they were an embarrassment. The kicking game cost them about 4/5 games. Should have beat Denver, Minnesota and the bills due to kicking. Least desirable I think not. The jets are not that far off

At the 1:35 mark you say "Texas has a very, very tough schedule next year." You also stated that the SEC Commis heard the "fans" that Texas was running the show and were given a SUPER SOFT 1st year schedule, but he (the commis) was showing everyone he was in charge not TEXAS. Did you even consider actually looking at both the '24 and'25 schedule? I think NOT. The two SEC Schedules are the EXACT SAME. Only difference is where the games are played. You played Georgia in Austin in 2024, now Texas will go to Georgia. Same for every game. I am sure at some point you did a video blasting Texas for having that SOFT schedule. Probably you should have just said ALL SEC TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE SAME SCHEDULE IN 2025 THEY PLAYED IN 2024. WE WILL NOT KNOW IF IT IS AN EASY OR HARD SCHEDULE UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON. By the way getting Arkansas and A&M both in AUSTIN will actually make 2025 easier than playing those two on the road.

How is another light SEC schedule a punishment? Fuck the gators, but have Texas play that schedule and see how they end up. Or Oklahomas schedule, that’s a tough run. Texas has all of one top tier SEC team the rest are mid and lower. I’d like to see them play at least two of the following in a season to be even considered a moderate SEC schedule: Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Georgia

A year ago these same people were talking about how tough a schedule Texas had and would not be able to hold up to the SEC, but as they won the schedule some how became the softest in ALL OF FOOTBALL. Now 2025 is so hard again Texas will not hold up, until at the end "well Texas really did have an easy schedule"

UGA got Bama, Texas and Ole Miss on the road and got Tennessee....Texas was gift-wrapped the easiest possible schedule in 2024 and UGA had to take a tougher schedule so Texas could get easier schedule.

Just to be clear, University of Texas will pay $1.7 MILLION TO UTEP when they come to Austin next season. Other big time programs do the same. This is what helps those schools fund their entire athletic program for the year. Everyone says the 12 team playoff is "all about the money", well the "soft" games are ALL ABOUT THE MONEY as well. How much did ND pay NIU to have NIU kick their butts at home?
@davidroman1654
@davidroman1654 Ай бұрын
With the "new" 12 team playoffs there is one team that is assured of getting in no matter what. The #1 reason for going to 12 was to assure ND will be in the playoffs. No conference games, soft teams week in and week out, finish 10-2 and will always be in. There will be changes before next season and when they are announced the final change should be "ONLY TEAMS THAT PLAY IN A CONFERENCE WILL BE IN THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS"

Then have a bunch of mid tiers like Baylor , Louisville, Texas A&M , Cal , Stanford, Iowa , Iowa State to join them.....These fraternities could absolutely destroy any commission or process to control the sport. What is the point of having these governing bodies if they are only their to arbitrate on special interest of private universities like Alabama? What? So the Big 10 and SEC can poach teams from other conferences?

Here’s the difference between other rivalry games and The Game is The Game has decided the fate of National Championship implications like 12 times in the past 35 years. OSU has a National Title atmosphere game on their schedule every year the last week of November regardless of the teams records and he has lost that game 4 years in a row. I hope this explains the OSU outlook better and it comes from a man born in Columbus, raised in Columbus, played HS football and College ball in Columbus and then lived on campus while in college.

As a UCF fan, we THANK YOU SO DARN MUCH for the 15 million dollar buy out Christmas gift. To answer your question... No, they did not knock it out the park. UCF literally had to force him to stop calling plays. He is a great recruiter/CEO. He is outdated stubborn and TERRIBLE as a play caller and his playbook is HORRID. Without RJ Harvey we wouldn't have won more than 2 games. Good luck FSU. You just paid a lot of money to have a TERRIBLE offense. Gus is Innovative? No. Gus plays plans offense likes its a cooking recipe. He know exactly what he thinks will work and he tries to find the pieces to do ONLY that. If he doesn't have the right ingredients, he doesn't change or innovate, he just shoves in players to try and make work. Which leads to year after year of failure. He thinks he will find a Cam Ward and if he doesn't have it, he wont ever succeed. He is stubborn and it will be the downfall of his career. Also, he is the farthest thing from a "QB Guru" all our QBs suffered and he cant recruit one that actually is what he thinks they are - See KJ and letting the heisman hopeful at Oregon who was at UCF leave.

I can fully understand where people would say that Melzahn is too old, his Offence is out of date, or he’s a bad coach. This is a guy who is been to a national championship as a head coach and as an offensive coordinator. You can say that there are some hot hands out there some young up-and-coming, and they might have been great fit for Florida State. If I were coaching for my job, I would take experience and reliability over potential. He might have flamed out at UCF but I’m sure it had much more to do with players and situation then for coaching.
