After you use the black gel polish CND and cure it, you used the CND Original Gel Top Coat? Can you use the Gel bonding polish instead of the Original CND Top Coat?

I don't have 150 grit on hand. Would you prefer 120 or 180 grit for the sanding band when removing gel nails? No enhancement underneath.

Always go with the higher grit!

Try taking a break and giving your nails some TLC with a good quality nail oil. Sometimes the oil just needs a little boost helping keep your nails flexible and healthy by being applied to the naked nails without a coating for it to work through. Also Dazzle Dry recommends taking an occasional break from the polish for a few days to a week!

@@FingerNailFixer thanks. I do soak them once a week with organic cold pressed Jojoba oil. I also give my nails a break. I only get two days with Dazzle dry :(

One of the things I deal with is it’s perfect the first day but the next day I see the polish shrinking at the free Edge

Are you sealing the edge with both layers of base coat?

@@lilly0303 the base coat isn’t designed to be used with revive, only the colors and the top coat. It’s possible the color isn’t shrinking so much as wearing off. Make sure you’re wearing gloves for household chores, using the PREP before application, and avoiding contact with even things like Clorox or Lysol wipes!

@@FingerNailFixer I don’t use revive with my base coat. I warm up the base coat. I use the revive on color and top coat. It applies evenly. The next morning there is shrinkage on the free edge. Happens with mostly dark colors.

@@lilly0303so I reached out to them about this because this happens to me as well. They said to try using the nail prep underneath the nail as well. And that the polish is too thick, either the lacquer or top coat.

Doesn’t it bug you when professionals don’t use proper nail anatomy terms? It’s hard for others to educate when professionals use the wrong terms. I wish every professional would take the opportunity to educate. She pushes the Proximal Nail Fold back and removes the cuticle. She also rubs the oil into the living skin around the nails, not into the dead skin that she’s removed. Sorry, that’s a pet peeve. 😂 It turned out really great! I love the look!! You definitely need this product. 😂 You can do so many great things with gel.

Nothing would happen, the mixer is the magnet that the imix uses to mix the polish!

A mixing cycle is 5 minutes, you can run the cycle more than once if needed 😃
