To me, the lyrics are way too direct (vulgar rather than sexy) which prevents enjoying the music either. This song was advertised as combination of Nightwish and Rammstein 😮 So I had high hopes that but got disappointed. Please never ever mention Nightwish in this connection, their music AND LYRICS are on another level.

This is also a new sound to Erika. The song is written and produced by a very popular Finnish artist called Chisu and this her signature style. Very artistic a bit strange but without a doubt a banger of a song. This whole thing is an experience.

I love this song, and interpret that society that brands women "zorra" out of judgement will also censor men that are not following narrow, normative masculinity. The singer and dancers claim their liberation together, it's a lovely message. BTW, she is not saying anyone is a slut, actually, but women will be branded one pretty much for any self-fulfillment by toxic judgement. I hope she maybe gets bit of vocal coaching for Malmö. Husband on keyboards is amazing, I loved the synth arrangement in this song to distraction. Vamos Nebulossa!

Hey Jesper - loved this reaction. I'm originally from Ireland but live just south of you now. Anyway, Bambie Thug - they were my favourite going in and I had a bit of hope because they were always sitting 2nd or 3rd in rankings and odds. I thought Go Tobann (tubban is the pronunciation not tobaaNN) would win but that didn't come across as well on the night so there was only one sane choice Ireland could make that night and it was Bambie. Maybe some extra elements - I think I'm going to do a video on this because. a lot of people miss them (I did on my first listen and watch as well so it's no shade) : 1. The song digs deep into Irish history, with the paganism, the first known Irish alphabet on the background screens etc. Also, the witchy vibe being tied in with Halloween (see below) also emphasises that the roots of Halloween are in Ireland, Samhain - the ancient Celtic pagan festival referring to the beginning of the darker half of the year. 2. I only noticed this yesterday, but there is a lyric 'my heartbeat buried in the ground and to the strings I bind, you're bound'. So firstly - the most obvious thing here is Bambie casting a spell on whoever this asshole was that treated them like crap. Secondly, and most interestingly, throughout the entire song (maybe not the final breakdown but need to re-check), that heartbeat runs throughout the song as a beat. It adds a menacing, witchy vibe. 3. I THINK (I'm not sure) that we have loud bodhrans (Irish drums) doing the big drum beats at the 'I, I, I see the scars in your eyes' bit. So we're bringing again Irish culture and musical instruments into the song. 4. Finally, Bambie has such an incredible vocal range and also across genres - the scream, they came to the afterparty in Dublin that night and that scream - I have absolutely no idea how they can go from such a high pitched witchy scream to a doom dark low tone scream. It blows my mind. Is it a marmite song, yes. But in this case I'm a marmite lover. Rooting for Ireland to qualify this year. We've done basically what everyone asked for - send a song that represents Ireland and its culture - well, here you go! And then of course we get people who'll say 'Oh, I didn't mean THAT', so you can't please anyone, but this song has SO many Irish elements to it that are being overlooked by reactors because of the shock factor of the song.

W95M had an excellent show, and for some reason the producers of Sara Siipola messed everything up - her performance simply looked strange on TV. Thus, the winner was clear and I can understand why, although this song was my least favourite of all the seven good songs. Sara can, however, comfort herself with having the biggest hit of the songs this year.
