Do I need an LLC or credit to do this I want to be an investor using creative financing but don't want to own or start a business?
@MakingBillionswithRyanMiller13 күн бұрын
Not legal or financial advice. Just an opinion. Always check with professionals before doing or not doing anything from this show. For the LLC, That’s a solid question for your lawyer. They would advise you on the best corporate structure. For credit. Yeah probably. That would help with traditional lenders like banks. There’s also private debt lenders (funds) and government grants to explore.

Great question! Typically in this type of scenario, you can exit (sell) by taking it public or by selling to a large company or private equity fund.

Since 1993, we have reinvested in things outside the core business. We have regularly 'raided' our original business to do so. If you start early and refuse to reinvest every penny back into your business, you can diversify early and never contend with the risk of too much net worth tied up in one business. In our case, if we feel that "to make this work, we need to reinvest everything back in the business" we refuse to take it on. This goes to Adam's point about Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk - there's no need to bottle up your assets in one vehicle. If you are contemplating a business that requires reinvesting everything back into it, ie. never allowing you to take money out to deploy elsewhere, there is a better way. Avoid those businesses. Someone else can take that on. Warren Buffet is known to be narrowly invested in just a few stocks. But one of the biggest oversights (many) people have about him is that he's all about stocks and investing in stocks. it's a tiny part of his activity. He buys cash flowing businesses. He is one of the most diversified investors on the planet. A bulk of it is insurance but he owns RV manufacturers, Dairy Queen, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Berkshire Realty, a brick manufacturer, lots and lots of diversified businesses. .

5 years ago no one was talking about cyber security being a part of due dilligence. Such a great point. Also buying existing rather than ground up is a preferred option, especially in todays economic environment. Tech will be a major factor going forward, thank you.
@MakingBillionswithRyanMillerАй бұрын
Yes. Brilliantly said. There are so many off Balance Sheet / P&L / Cashflow statement costs that are drastically material in the valuation. A new (expanded) method of valuation and operations needs to be updated. Makes for a huge competitive advantage if you’re early to leverage tech debt and tech equity in your analysis.

Sir can u tell me what will the holding conpany which is in usa do 1) if the subsidary company run by management in south africa (just example) revolts and stops transfering profits to the parents company. Will they be fired from their job ?. How will the parent compahy ensure that the subsidiary conpany managemet is kept under control and dosent betrays the parnet company by declaring that they no longer are part of the parent conpany declared by managemnt 😅 Just curious to know
@MakingBillionswithRyanMillerАй бұрын
Hypothetically, a company will have its bank accounts settle to the patent company so this is not an issue. And yeah, they’d probably get fired
