@@ethanlasitter1669I think Wolverine is pretty great but I think my favorite has to be Nightcrawler and that's really based on the old arcade game we used to pour quarters into but I loved playing as him.

I bought the original one because for some reason my citys toy store just had it in stock. Most crazy lego experience of my life (they had more left over sets from that time)

If the new one has the sentinel it would have given them something to fight and added the value to justify the £70-90 otherwise it's still a great set I'm waiting for a sale. Plus still need to get Beast and the other Wolverine

I honestly like the new one better. It’s more like a detailed version of the old one. The only bad part about it is the minifigures. Wolverine looks weird from the side and back, and Magneto looks more like Magneta. I get that it is missing a sentinel, but it really isn’t too big of a deal.

@@EllenLampard-zh1tg No sets in particular, I have a bunch of bulk pieces I build with and I also buy specific bricks when I need them from Bricklink. I just tried to make sure these were pieces that were obtainable when I was putting it together.

Hey man, great review - very well worded and lots of great info. I have a question for you... I'm currently piecing together this set and another Indiana Jones set (7198). Bricklink says that the 1x2 Yellow Axle brick in the Temple Escape set is the "x" shaped variant. It says the same thing for 7198 as well for the white Axle 1x2 brick. I'm fairly certain that both(?) of these are the "+" shape variant. If it's not too much trouble, can you double check yours (assuming you built this one brand new) and tell me if it's the "x" or "+" shape brick? Thanks!

Hi, thanks for watching and for your message! Both of my sets were second hand so I can’t say for sure if some pieces were swapped at some point, but neither have the x shaped variant brick (32064b). Set 7198 has the brick 32064 and set 7623 has 32064c. Hope that helps a little.

I feel like hype is building with the new movie coming and its not going to get cheaper so it might be a good idea to get it before then, but you should be willing to bide your time a little and wait for a decent price. I was able to get this mostly complete and only had to find a few small replacement pieces (the ball is super hard to find so be sure it has that).
