I may have missed it, but what are the size dimensions of your keyboard rugs? Great work!

Very nice clean and beautiful work! When finishing the back, why do you clip the straight edges? I can understand clipping the curved edges.

What glue and backing did you use?
@TheRugBar
@TheRugBar 9 ай бұрын
The glue I use is Roberts 6700, the aerosol I used to adhere the backing is usually gorilla glue brand. The backing I used was felt, however I recommend using premium felt as it makes the rug sturdy from it being thicker. I get mine from Joann fabrics

What size is your frame 😮?
@TheRugBar
@TheRugBar 9 ай бұрын
4x4 feet! It’s good for multiple projects at once, but if you’re doing individual ones that aren’t that big I would recommend just doing a 2x2 or 3x3 :)

How much would a commission of this typically cost?
@TheRugBar
@TheRugBar 11 ай бұрын
all commissions are based off of size + detail so prices can vary! this one in specific was a little over 3ft x 3ft and sold for $300.

Yes, it is! You can also use wool yarn as well. Acrylic is just friendlier to the wallet

I love this!! Is this difficult to find the supplies for a novice to try? I have background knowledge of cross stitch, crochet, sewing, and the kits for latching yarn on the plastic backing… 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😉 😁
