That is a freshwater limpet. I wish nerites could hatch and grow in freshwater, but unfortunately they don't.

I think the snail in the video may be a Ferrissia fragilis. This species of snail is very small. They live in my aquarium too and I like them.

Nerite snails only breed in brackish water

NOT true! Mine are most definitely in a FRESHWATER aquarium & as I type this my tank is FULL of babies from only my ORIGINAL TWO NERITE SNAILS!! 🐌

@@amilaelizabeth3210Everyone I've ever seen claiming this is mistaking a different type of snail for a Nerite. I wish Nerites would breed in freshwater but it's impossible.

Everyone who ever said they where able to bread nerite snail, could never really proove it. Do not believe these videos. I do as much research as I can since years, time to time. But never could find any information about how to breed them. I do not think It's impossible, but we yet to come up with the method.
