Only issue i have with this setup is all the loss i see on the ground where a guy would have to go over it again to get all his hay up

Mini round bales that weigh the same as mini square, are the the newest hot-shoot to the market. How do I see the case of mini round vs the traditional mini square: Pros: 1. Mini round requires compact equipment that is less complex than square baler, 2. Round bales resists better if exposed to rain and with a softer core they are less prone to mold and fire, 3. Round baling equipment requires less power and is less expensive. Cons: 1. Harder to stack/store due the round shape, 2. Uses more twine per bale (around 2-3 times more), net wrap is more expensive than twine, 3. Requires for the hay to be evenly feed in the baler, that also has a narrower pickup and is more sensitive to the speed and quantity you are feeding the hay in. Cause of that baling is also slower than square. Some extras: Despite the myth, the mini round bales are not more compact that mini square bales, they offer a similar density of around 22.5 psf. Mini round bales are perfect for bailing silage, being compatible with the wrapping equipment, something you cannot do with a square.

Will be buying, but need to wait until inflation comes down

Great video, rake and baler work great in hay/ long grass but im curious on how both machines handle picking up and clearing dead fallen leaves that could make a great video

The one I have is a waste of money. It won’t feed the net worth a damn. I called customer service, and was told to loosen the roller springs. I backed them off as far as I could and it still won’t feed on its own. You have to hold the handle back as hard as possible to get the net to feed at all. I think the slipper belt is to sloppy to work but even when it feeds net the net just balls up under the feed rollers until it gets caught in the roller and then I have to stop and cut everything out and reseed the netting I’m going to try a smaller belt on the slipper and see if that feeds it consistently. But then I have to find a netting that is heavier and won’t ball up and get tangled just from the airflow around the rollers. Customer service said the net they ship with is crap and i should buy their better netting….. which begs the question why are you selling it with crappy netting ? Why not replace it before shipping or at least don’t sell it with net at all. Frankly I’m worried about spending more money with you guys but I don’t know where to get net for this lemon. Truly wishing I’d bought something else

With our 100 year old farm we have four barns but none of them were built with 1000lb bales in mind! We got all the other equipment and started to silage but the thing that made sense was a small round bailer. The bonus is that as we get older we are not lifting 100lb square bales!

What an inefficient way to make hay. A 50 hp tractor can easily handle a 4x4 baler and move the bales.

Tractor tools direct. Is a fair and honest company. With a great product.

Do they make a mini round baler with a hitch tongue. Now this is just me so let's not go down that road. I really don't like the 3 point hitch on it. Now I'm sure you like it but I'm not you so I don't like it. I would rather have the tongue itch on it. Just asking.

Any smaller versus width and it would look like a cigar....

I remember mini round bales forty years ago stacking them on the hay rack sucked, those old alis rotor baler worked great a small twenty horse tractor worked great
