The reason cats rub their head and ears on things and people is because they have a scent gland on their face directly behind the eye going back under the ear. You can see the fine hair in that location where the gland is. They rub their scent on things in their territory to claim them and warn competitors.

Whats even worse than vertical filming? Youre right. Rotating a vertical video 90° so we cannot even use full screen of a phone to watch but have to use the center 25% while the rest stays black.

On mobile you can zoom in. Instead of scrolling the player up for full screen just pull down, pinch and zoom. You might loose some of the quality but at least you can see it better.
