Just got $10710.00 off a 2025 HTC in Sea Wolf Gray. The bottom is falling out and there are way better deals out there than 5k off a 2024.

Of course you like the Z51, mag ride, front lift, 2LT, sport seats! It damn near doubles the MSRP of the original base C8! There's not as much profit margin on a base C8 with only Z51 pkg (the way I would spec mine). Though out of $ range of most real people, these are still a good value compared to seriously expensive competition- but only if you lay off all the fru-fru options! Typical dealer. I'll stick with previous generations anyways, as I need a manual (the double clutch in these are having major issues, as expected), I won't do cylinder deactivation, direct injection, touch screens, or Spyware technology. All for well-documented reliability and security reasons. I also must be able to maintain, work on, and most importantly modify the engine myself. I guess that leaves me with C5s and C6s. Yeah, I'm sure you see me as a pathetic 'commoner' 😅

Is it legal to have your windows all blacked out in Texas?

We made the mistake of trying to buy a C8 online. After we drove 500+ miles one way we found out they added $3,000 to the price and told us one lie after the other. They told us they had a better offer and the person was on the way. This was three months ago and the car is still for sale heading into winter. They must not know how to fine info on a car online, we do. We were back in the car and gone within twenty minuets, we also turned both of our phones off. I did a review of the dealership and sales people, including several photos of them, the dealership and the paperwork. I will find a nice used C8 sooner or later it's no big deal.

I have a 14 1LT and it has Nav.

i got a 2015 stingrary z51 several months ago. my 4th vette. it has several options once you go to track mode and double tap the conttol button. i know my car has been retuned but to what extent im not sure. the eco mode has been disabled and afm never closes. when i try and launch it in launch mode it spins and i have terrible 0 to 60mph times. around 5.6. i can do 4.2 to 4.7 by just leaving traction control on and pressing the gas pedal slowly, i usually dont get to half way till it shifts the only 3/4 to the floor by the time i pass 60mph and get low 4's but i just can't get launch control to not spin

Mine is a 3LZ and the heads up display only shows posted speed limit in certain modes, not all of them. Why is that? I like to compare posted speed with actual speed and it only shows on one or two of the displays.

That is a door latch, it is NOT for closing the door. You can, use it to close the door, but that is NOT what function is. It is to latch the door closed.

For the memory seat settings, No need to press that quickly. If you press and HOLD the seat settings button, wait for the beep, then just click the number that you want to set the seat for.

Thanks for your video, I am having trouble with the sd card showing up on my iPad and iPhone. Other cards show up but the one I have pdr recordings on show nothing. the other cards from my drone laptop etc are sandisk and work on my iPad and phone, while the one I use in the c8 is onn I bought new from Walmart and only use in the vette. I am wondering if I should buy a sandisk card and try it in the car. it is weird because I can plug it into to my laptop and it shows up

You have the PTM mode if you have magnetic ride suspension... I have a manual trans Z-51 without PTM mode..(no magnetic ride) If I put it in launch control , It revs to about 4300rpms..and if you let go of the clutch it just sits and spins the tires and goes for the rev limiter..Kinda useless without better traction.. But I like the , no lift shift...

Personally, I think the design of the c8 is too ambitious, and doesn't serve the purpose of what a Corvette is nearly as much. The c7, has a lot more likeable design, it's not so polarizing. And it has actually been reported to have a bit better driving characteristics for, complicated reasons.
