He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree , so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness;… (1 Peter 2:24) Paul says the same thing (a little wordy) in Romans 6:1-18 Paul also says in 1 Corinthians 15:34, “Stop sinning and awaken to righteousness.” All possible through faith in Christ (because He died and rose from the grave alive).
