As the other guy said, DO NOT FUCK WITH GARAGE SPRINGS UNLESS YOU ARE TRAINED TO DO SO. Hilariously dangerous stuff.

My garage door repairman told me Not to use Garage Door Lubricant or Grease as it collects dirt and said to use WD-40 as it does not collect dirt. And use WD-40 on the coil springs to keep them from breaking. And I have heard this from other Garage Door Repair personnel.

I replaced my original garage doors with new ones. They came with a worm gear to wind the spring. You just use a hex driver in a drill to wind it or unwind to your heart's content. Much much safer.

The correct answer is never wind springs unless you do it for a living. Sometimes you dont get to ask for help and springs dont care.

@@viharkottakota1849these are garage door springs. Winding them up is what allows the door to lift up and down with minimal effort. After winding them you tight the bolt down to the rod going to the sides that have a cable attached to the winds up and down.

Do not touch the springs on a garage door under ANY circumstances. (Unless you are experienced) You will end up in the hospital, no I am not exaggerating, Google it...

I understand what you're saying, but the vast majority of people will not check the description. Shorts are just mind-numbing scrolling for a LOT of people... Disclaimers should be put visually on the screen to be read for the viewer, or at least say: "Disclaimer: please read description"... Most people, specifically younger people, do not have the intelligence to recognize the sarcasm or entertainment of the video. Thank you for your time.
