I love this for the community. As a father to a child fighting a rare terminal illness; community feels key. I left a cozy well paying job because I was too secluded for my situation and knew I needed to have human interaction. I now work for a relationship driven company where I interact with upwards of 100+ people a day. I yearn for community. After volunteering at just ONE Roc Solid Build, I instantly knew I needed to volunteer for every opportunity my workplace partners alongside. I also have developed my own goal of starting a non-profit in order to raise funds for research of treatments and cures for Leigh Syndrome. I just got recommended a copy of your book so I looked up your story and further into detail about Roc Solid Foundation. Thank you very much for what you do and the story/journey you share about the organization and yourself and HUGE thank you to the families who were willing to participate in this. As a fellow 757 native, I hope to sit down with you in the future to see how the non profit I intend to start can help aid your fight!
