From what i've heard the creator of this was super racist/sexist/kind of an asshole in general. His last known project was deadass a sandy hook FPS. He even got banned from Encyclopedia Dramatica. (and if you didn't already know, if you get banned from there it usually means you fucked up hard..)

if you still mess with mame you should look into this program called "lunchbox" it's a really good front end that is SUPER easy to setup (unlike hyperspin). It automatically seperates all the duplicates and crappy gambling games etc, as well as finding things like cover art, descriptions and demo footage. Pretty cool stuff.
