I see a lot of recipes using maple syrup, are you using the real stuff or Aunt Jemima?

I would never toss my crans with anything but real maple syrup from my friend’s tree, but if you like it, go forward it. 😉

How long do these keep for. I was under the impression(from another KZbinr dehydrater) that anything chewy and especially chewy with sweetener, would mold fairly quickly.

Around here, not long! We eat them quickly. I can see where they may mold tho if you try to store them for more than a week or so. Especially if it’s warm in your kitchen.

Fabulous! I had just cut apart some frozen cranberries because I thought cutting them frozen is better. I can see that it works! I’m going to be trying mine in the air fryer

If you use a silicone mat to dehydrate on it makes them come loose easier and also makes for easier cleanup.

My cucamelons are just growing to harvest size. I was actually wondering when I should pick them from the vine. You said something about them trying white. Should I look for that as a sign to harvest! Enjoyed your video by the way. This is my second are 3rd time viewing it. I view it when I first heard about cucamelons. At present I’m fascinated with the little boogers. 😂. Thank you again for sharing. How did you pickle them?

At the end you said you used 3T maple syrup, and that was too much. The next time you would use a little over 1 tsp. Did you really mean 1 tsp or 1 T? I thought this was a great great video. This is my first time ever dehydrating and I absolutely love those broccoli salads with the dried cranberries in them. So I have my taste buds already tantalizing

Oooo, thanks for catching that. I usually use about 1TB usually, sometimes a bit more. I don’t like them super sweet, but you have to have enough to keep them dry but chewy.

How many did you plant? You have way more than I want so I don't want to plant too many at the beginning.

Just one plant can produce quite a lot. My biggest plant was only transplanted 1.5 months ago, so it's still not that big, and I already harvested a quart of cucamelons off it.
