Rouser was never great, she was just given weak fights to promote the sport and hype her up to the audience. Never a great.

Back in 1988, I heard this guy doing this number...I was pleasantly shocked, to hear that he was a Canadian dude...I live in Seattle, and could not believe, that I had not heard of this guy. I was very into the Blues. I waited to hear more on local radio, but he seemed to have fallen off the radar, in the States. I am so happy to have read, that he has gone on to have a very solid career in Canada! And he managed to be SRVs opening act, back in the mid-80s!...He clearly is a fine Blues player, and deserves to be more well-known. I am so mad at myself, for not finding a way to follow his career. Clapton should have brought him into those huge Blues guitar festivals that Eric had instigated, in the 1990s. I guess that the Blues Stage was, and still is,a very crowded stage to frequent.

Great music, but the vocals leave s little bit to be desired.. not unexpected at their age, of course..😅

Anytime I hear this kind of nonsense, I remember seeing a totally untrained guy utterly dominate a decorated 125lb female fighter. It wasn't even competitive. Anytime I've trained with female fighters, their strength is just like that of a small child. No matter what I let them lock up (triangle, arm bar, kimora, etc.), I would just power out of it (and that's with only 30% effort).

Waddy mouthed off about Warrens album that Jackson Browne produced. So Browned called up Wachtel and said ok come help me produce Warren. Warewolves of London. Fifty takes with Mick and John from Fleetwood Mac and the rest is history.

My oldest brother , 21 years my senior, was dying of cancer, and we would sit at his kitchen table drinking Jim Beam. We talked music, and he would get me to look up a lot of songs from his youth. This was one. Each song would reflect his feelings and say things that he couldn't muster. His dog Buster had died 20 years before, and his heart was raw with grief for years. Until the day his son died. He told me that day he had stopped mourning his dog. His heart was huge, and his life was filled with tragedy, but as he slowly wasted away, he held on to his dignity and any tears that surely were welling. We made a playlist of his favorite tunes. He knew it would be a way for me to revisit those nights. The Lord doesn't give you more than you can handle, they say, but he just might have pushed the envelope with my brother. Rest easy, Pat . 💔

The first time I heard this song I was with Herbie Worthington and members of my immediately family. About 15 or so years later, I found myself one weekend as personal chauffeur for Professor Alan Dershowitz. I found out later that one of my immediate family spent the evening with Keith Richards' at his house, watching "Goodfellas". This family member also recorded three albums with Danny Korthchmar. Hmm.

Hi there :) Appreciate the video, but I noticed a typo in the description for this that I hope you dont mind me pointing out. Kwakwaka'wakw does mean 'speakers of kwak̓wala', but it's not spelled with an l in it like our language is, but rather a third 'k' in the place you might have expected an 'l' would be. Thanks!
