My 2 'favourite' gripes; bucking, and brake dust. So, the bucking (or kangarooing as we say here in the UK) is not a DCT problem, it's a you problem. The good news is that you should eventually master it. I'm guessing you've not had the car long. The thing to remember is the transmission is not a torque converter.....it has actual gears. The gears are electronically shifted, as are the clutch plates. Do you ever remember kangarooing (sorry, bucking) a manual car when you first learnt to drive? I know I did. Now ask yourself why that happened. Answer; you probably gave it too much gas, popped the clutch too quickly and jolted forward, depressed the clutch to stop the jolt, then popped the clutch again and jolted etc etc. Chances are, you couldn't kangaroo a manual car now if you tried. And once you've sussed out the DCT, it will be the same thing. Tip: around town, just tap the gas to engage creep mode, then just treat it like a ZF from there on. If you're looking for fast pull away from lights, just fully commit to the gas and the car will pull away rapidly and smoothly. Okay so brake dust: use the brakes less! Honestly, so many people use their brakes way too often. I sometimes count how many times brake lights come on from a car in front of me and it's crazy how sometimes they brake like 30 times versus my once. Read the road, don't bowl up to the car in front then smash the brakes......it's pointless. And don't brake just because you're approaching a bend - unless you're driving silly speeds, on a day to day basis the car won't roll over I'm sure. The M2C is a fantastic car.

Why didn't you consider the normal version of the M2? More comfortable, almost as fast, looks as good.

For my Audi S6 I went with red stuff brake pads which significantly reduced the brake dust. They probably have them for your BMW.

unless you plan to push the car past stage 2 then crankhub is not an issue, for the average person stage 2 is more than enough let alone stage one. If you’re paying to get big power it make sense to do CH otherwise not. Just don’t down shift hard on dcts

I can't stand brake dust either. The year after I bought my current daily d, Porsche decided to make their PSCB's standard equip on the Macan GTS's. So none of them have a brake dust problem ever, and their rotors are mirror finished all the time. Ughhhh
