I agree with you B. I’ve known Jim along time since we were kids and he has always dominated. I watched a podcast with Dale Brigsby and he told JB that Jim said he would beat him and JB said he would he would beat Jim easy(I’m sure Dale was just trying to get JB wired up) and JB responded by saying he would beat Jim easy. I’ve never met JB personally but the man can ride bulls. The funny thing is Jim would never say something like that, so I think Dale was picking at JB. No disrespect towards JB but I would pick Jim in his prime against anybody past or present. You can’t forget about Donnie Gay though, everybody had a chance to win 8 titles like Donnie did and only 1 has come close. That’s a feat in itself. You know some of the guys that have paid the price were very capable of challenging the record. That’s for sure

I watched a clinic he did in Queen Creek Arizona several years ago . I lost all respect and definitely have never got it back. I didn't even bother to go back the second day.i prefer someone that has more respect for people and horses, without mentioning any names because i respect him so much.

Exact same answer he gave the woman at the bar, is the answer I gave to a dame that asked me about her older horse that's been bucking all its life. It was at a barbecue and I had a few drinks, and I think the rest of group thought I was a monster. What the f ever, I was asked a question, I gave an honest answer.

One time at a bareback riding school in Carthage MO, 25 years ago. He put us on horses late in the first day. I rode the shit out of mine. Mainly because I was in front of my Idol! I can still remember him saying You really got something to build on..keep it up!! The second day I double grabbed on a horse and Ty made me do 25 push ups in the middle of the arena. When I got up he shook my hand and said now....NO MORE FUC*ING DOUBLE GRABBIN! In 10 years after that of riding bareback horses... I never double grabbed on one.😂

Ty has always gone out of the box to be a Champion. I’m sure some people were giving him a hard time about doing gymnastics but they don’t have the buckles or influence he does. Dancing with the stars, a cowboy ? Now he’s introduced a whole new group of people to Rodeo. When he retired and started getting trained to train horses, I saw an interview of them asking why he was doing that. His answer was “if they are going to call me the greatest cowboy of all time, I’m going to keep working on it”. Great show.

@@thecowboyperspective-tcp According to most of my family I'm not normal since I've long since accepted we all die eventually, and when we least expect it. I'm fully prepared to stop existing tomorrow, hell even tonight. I mean, I'd prefer not to because dying is typically not good for one's health, in fact it's quite possibly the worst thing for one's health, but eventually it happens. Being afraid of that day, waiting to accept fate well, what's the point? I know I'm gonna die eventually, probably sooner than I hope, but that's okay because I'm alive now. And as long as I'm alive here in the present, I can make the most of it. Then if I do die tomorrow, at least I'll have lived life to the fullest. Sorry, that became more of a rant than I wanted it to. Thank you for bringing me back to this. Made my night a bit better 😊
