I would love to see it installed is it a window or through wall unit
@angrodNumenesse4 ай бұрын
Neither. This is a console unit and is actually a piece of furniture that you place against the wall. You do need a hole in the wall to duct the hot air from the condenser to the outside.

I have the same, but with the front facade that has the horizontal lined grille. Otherwise, exactly the same internally. Great units. Made entirely in-house, both fan and compressor.

Do you have any parts for these! Switch….cage??? I have one. Not sure it’s the same model though. It has the struts and rear ring for the cage and those are brass.

Great unit of course, these are personally my favorite quietmaster units. I’m a 2000’s baby so I came up with the WCI 90’s units & these quietmasters right here. The older ones are great no doubt but these work just as well in my opinion.

They actually made ceiling fans in the 90’s and early 2000’s with air filters in the blades.

That sounds like a 3,600 RPM compressor. Reminds me of an AJ, but that can't be a Tecumseh since their 1958 offerings were 1,800. Unless someone replaced the compressor at some point in the life of the AC unit. What's the make and model?
@ericsantiquefanshvacmiscel49332 жыл бұрын
It has a Tecumseh AU "Pancake" compressor in it, which was introduced in 1958
@redleader64422 жыл бұрын
@@ericsantiquefanshvacmiscel4933 I had no idea that the AU was pre-60s. Was that their first 3,600 RPM? Always thought the 1960 AE was their first.
