This was so relaxing. I tend not to watch videos like this because of the clipper sound. But I didn't mind it here. Your voice is so relaxing. Excellent for lulling oneself to sleep. I sincerely hope you do more hairstyling/haircutting videos.

Classic Peppermint Candy Cane Cookies -1 cup butter (room temperature) -1 cup Powdered sugar -1 large egg -1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract -1/2 teaspoon Peppermint baking extract -3 cups all purpose flour -1 teaspoon salt -1/2 teaspoon red food coloring Directions Place butter and Powdered sugar in a bowl and best together. Beat on medium speed until fluffy. Add in 1 large egg, vanilla and Peppermint baking extract. Beat together. Add in flour and salt and beat together until it is all mixed together. Divide the dough in half and transfer one of the halves to another bowl. Work the color into the dough by hand or using an egg beater. Wrap the dough up and place in fridge for 1 hr to 3 days. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place Parchment paper onto pans. Take equal sized pieces off each colored dough. (About 1 and 1/2 inch sized balls) Roll out dough into ropes about 6 inches long. Pinch the top of the two ropes together and twist together. Gently create a hook shape at the top for that classic candy cane shape. Bake for 10 to 12 mins or until the edges are just starting to turn golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 10 mins otherwise they might break when transferring. After the 10 mins, transfer to a cooling rack and let them cool completely.
