Hi there, if you downloaded my files pre-update and overwrite the new ones that came with CA update then you are set. When you launch the game the NEW launcher from creative assembly will appear, don't select any mods in there, just launch the game as if it was vanilla, THEN the legacy mod manager will pop up, and there you select the mods you want to use. If you are having trouble could be due to the user script which has previously used mods data, go to your scripts folder and just cut away your user script [paste it on your desktop for example], then launch the game again. After selecting the mods a new user script will be created. Hope it helps, Cheers

Hello my friend, I don't think so but haven't tried it. I think the power settings are managed from windows and the options it gives you are when to turn off, what to do when closing the lid, the power set up balanced or performance etc and things like that. Sorry I can't really test it since I bought the laptop with chinese OS and I don't understand it fully lol

You have several options for the AI on the left hand side of the launcher, in green color. Check the buttons text file for info on each option, and try them out, I'm sure you will find the one that suits your play style. Remember that you can change them before loading your campaign, with steam running but not empire. If you want to change again, exit empire and make the change on the launcher, load your save and try another one until you find what you like. Take care, Cheers

Hi again, I found this other mod that adds range and accuracy, I think only to infantry though I haven't test it myself yet. Hello friend, are you trying to download from moddb? would it be this link? www.moddb.com/mods/field-command-napoleon When you go to files tab and click on download a popup message appears. On top of the box in small letters tells you that if the download doesn't start you can click there, OR you can chose a different mirror server. Try that, I had same issue once, changed to another server and the download started then. Hope this helps you, good luck, Cheers

Hey buddy, yeah in this game we never get to a planet scenario per se, always stations, outposts etc I traveled to the edge of the maps and there's quite some room to fly around away from main points on the maps before you hit the limits, but it is totally empty, no enemies spawn either sadly Hope you are keeping well my friend, take care, Cheers

Hello my friend, I'm glad the video could help you out! yeah i had to stop using vdm as well, is very easy to get messed up and the campaign gets very weird... Regarding the button, the one on the bottom right corner will reset everything to vanilla and all scripts will be closed and sent back to PUA folder. Then you can select each option individually again. If you just want to turn off vdm there is a button to do so while all other selections remain active, however, remember that the campaign you were playing with vdm on will probably crash if you load the save with vdm off.. I just finished the play through yesterday, I enjoyed the story and let's say 90% of the game. I played it on normal difficulty, there were two times when I almost uninstalled it though a boss fight that will come on a later video going into a rift, and the end boss battle where I just kept dying over and over...only after dying so many times learned the pattern of obstacles and whatnot to get through it, had to lower mouse sensitivity to move carefully...finally succeeded and liked the ending. Only 17.4% players on steam have completed the game, so you could say a few loved it, and many hated it...I would have played it on easy now that I finished it, I'm more for the story than a hardcore keyboard pianist haha but overall I liked it, hope you enjoy the ride my friend, take care and thank you for your support, Cheers

Hello friend, very good questions. First of all notice that on the launcher, left top corner there is selection in blue "buttons". I recommend you click in there, it will open a text file with a description of all the buttons in the launcher, very useful. Now I'll try to answer your questions; 1. You customize your game clicking the selections on the launcher, the game CLOSED, however, remember to launch STEAM before open the launcher, so mod can access the game files. 2. YES the launcher will keep your preferences made when you exit the game. So, next time you play, the same or a new different campaign, the preferences you made will still be active. Most of the options can be changed anytime, but other like VDM can not. That's why I recommend to check the buttons text file, will tell you which ones you can and can not change during a campaign. 3. To continue a saved campaign just select the same campaign on the launcher, then load your last save. Campaigns are divided in two groups, vanilla maps and extended maps. AND on the top right corner you have the option of VDM on or off. IF YOU PLAY with VDM, make sure to click on VDM CL for a campaign played on vanilla map, or click on VDM biM for the extended map, so the VDM script is active. Then launch the campaign and load your save. If you don't play with VDM you can ignore that. Very IMPORTANT is to load a save from the corresponding campaign. That's why on my video I mention is useful to write the saves with some hint, specially if you play several campaigns at the same time. If you try to load the wrong save the game will crash. So for example, I played the yellow roses pirates with vdm on the extended map. When I make a save I write let's say 'war with british' before going to diplo screen to declare war on them for example, then I will add something to remember and the save will look like this; Yellow roses pirates 1706 war with british VDM BIM so I know that the save corresponds to VDM on the big map. If I try to load this save on a campaign without VDM or in the vanilla map, the game will crash. Yeah would make sense they knew each other from the start, and maybe later will be like that. When I play I get invested in the campaigns but forget that this is early alpha, so many things that izzi will change. For now the map is finished and the factions rosters, however the diplo, campaign scripts, tech trees and many mechanics izzi haven't started working on yet, I'm amazed how playable the mod is already in this early stage, and I rarely have a crash due to the game/mod very stable.
