The patience and precision you have for getting into those tiny nooks and crannies is so impressive. I guarantee, if I was the one making this, I'd be smudging every single mold and cursing until I gave up. Props to you!

@Forgen20Ай бұрын
@@vivilaineroosen7676 I imagine it's even harder because you're filming everything. Not only do you have to go slow and be precise, but you have to stay in frame. You do amazing!

I use glass photo frames and paint, it looks nice but resin is best, I dont know how to use resin so I paint my sun catchers. Love your work, ❤
@vivilaineroosen76762 ай бұрын
thank you, I do really like using window paints too cause one can get lots of nice details (talking about the paints that you can make clear art with that you then can stick on the window and peel off again if needed (depending n how long it was on there xD) Resin just works nicely in this case since it can fill more 3D space

Hi there, I'm just curious to know what gauge why are you used for the finer details? Because I think I have a similar gauge wire and I would love to do my own Creations using this idea as I've been wanting to do some sun catchers of my own and also bezels
@vivilaineroosen76762 ай бұрын
This wire is 1mm high and about 0,35mm thick (giving it the flexibility needed to make detail work)

OOF. The value is NOT there, not even close. Honestly, the audacity of Sophie & Toffee to include popsicle sticks in a box with a mold to make your own stir sticks...what the actual heck. When I saw the theme of this box, I assumed there would be multiple resin-saver mats, not just a single one. If you tally up the value of everything in this box, it doesn't even come close to the cost of it. If they'd at least included some resin and a few molds, maybe, but geeeeez. It's bad. Very bad. Your video is good though! And good on you for pausing the S&T subscription while they release meh boxes.

Music drowns out your voice for the community with hearing issues. Perhaps try some videos or shorts without it?
@vivilaineroosen76762 ай бұрын
Good to know, since this is just a thing I do for fun I will likely not make shorts but I wanted to start adding subtitles to some videos as that may also help people that are not that fluent in english.

To make the drills fit, flip the slot end that the drills go into. It should have a bigger hole grippy end on the reverse side. Btw, I totally agree with your assessment of this box. The bits and pieces are a bit thick. I think the sticks could be used for making miniature model houses for table top gaming. Infact a lot of those pieces could used in table top gaming miniature custom builds. I feel like this box was more of a way for S&T to get rid of some overstock items. An over priced cash grab honestly. S&T has been a bit of of a bummer lately for sure.
@vivilaineroosen76762 ай бұрын
I know that there is 4 options in this drill for the bits to go into but some do not fit in any f them at all, it is either too loose or too tight for them (I would not be surprised if it worked for some and not for others as the metal feels cheap so there may be a lot of tolerance variation). And yeah indeed, some of their products recently really are a let down.... I like the idea of making miniature stuff out of these molds, may have to try that.

Hi I love you work but I’m a little confused I bought this kit but I see you using the shaker oil provided but your mixing it with glycerin and other liquids, does that mean i can’t use the shaker liquid alone, will it not get result like you if I dint add glycerin etc if I have to add it what’s the ratio?
@vivilaineroosen76763 ай бұрын
You can use the shaker oils alone, the part that got the glycerin is the water, glycerin just helps the mica powder swirl a bit more but it is not needed. The supplied shaker liquids are basically pre-coloured water, I just switched them out for my own mixture but you can use them straight out of the bottle no problem. (As for ratios I honestly just added the glycerin little by little until I got the effect I liked) Also if you use your own water I would suggest to pick up distilled water or treated water because normal bottle/tap water may grow algae and stuff over time.

Regarding bubbles, I saw that someone puts his pieces in to a vacuum chamber. Basically a aiethight pot of ehich he sucked out the air.
@vivilaineroosen76763 ай бұрын
I do own a vacuum chamber but I try to only use it if I really need it plus the only place it would be useful in this case would be to get bubbles out when I pour the base but since I used multiple colours that would mean those would mix. I in fact did use my vacuum chamber when I made the silicone molds to get them to be "perfect". There is another way to use a pressure chamber but those are very expensive over here (even the diy components) which is why I do not own one yet.
