I was trying to find fighter pilot anime and this and Area 88 were recommended. After watching Area 88, I decided just last night to start watching this. This show is so good. I’m 12 episodes in and loving it so far. Killer animation and soundtrack too

Think about the fact half the war on Earth were guys in tanks or just regular infantry with missile launchers trying to take them on. I mean yeah Zeon had infantry and tanks too but seeing something this huge when you just have a rifle or rocket launcher would be terrifying.

To me this always was such a great fusion of that 60s big band feel, progressive 70s guitar soloing with a touch of 80s synthesiser and orchestral folded into the mix. Guitar solo was one of my main inspirations for learning instrument after hearing back in the 80s.
