Coming from being in an ole school band I definitely relate to what Slave is puttin down. Only thing I see they could improve on is the stage presence/ choreography.

This is 1988? Looks like early 2000s. And John Edwards was still with them in 1988. He left in the late 90s because of a stroke

The band is killing it. The vocalists are offering their very best. Alas, the gents that made The Spinners iconic were gifted and anointed singers. No one will ever duplicate Wynne. I applaud these talented dingers and musicians; thanks for the memories!

Pretty sure this wasn't recorded in '88. Roland XP-80 keyboard: maybe '97 or later? ...AND very clear video. (Nice to see & hear everything so clearly, in Stereo.) As an aside: I don't get why the audience seems to be just sitting there. Maybe filmed in Europe...?

When I was a tad in the 60’s we heard this along with all the other rock and folk music on am radio. I was too young to differentiate and categorize one style from the other. It was all great music. Now, 60 some years later, I can honestly say, “god I LOVE The Spinners and have for all this time.
