Only another bear can survive such encounter. Just unexpectedly came across mamma grizzly and two cubs yesterday worst case scenario. Fortunately experience taught me to immediately retreat give as much distance as fast as possible.

It seems other bears weather male or female are more of a threat than the people in the viewing platform.

Ive seen alot of the bears, on katmai , grazer/ chunk/ otis/ walker/ etc.. ive never seen a more gorgeous bear then 68 68 had it all..I miss 68 Rip 868 who was 68s 83 s syblings i believe..
