Liebe Sarah, Lieber Timo, vielen lieben Dank für Ihr tolles Feedback! Es freut uns immer sehr, wenn wir einen Beitrag gestalten können, der für den Zuschauer interessant ist. Auch wir lernen täglich dazu und sind immer wieder überrascht welche durchdachte Lösungen es bei Kleinserien gab. Um auf Ihre Frage zurück zu kommen, das Fahrzeug wurde vor vielen vielen Jahren einmal nachlackiert. Soweit mit einem Lackschichten-Messgerät nachgemessen, sollte das Fahrzeug unfallfrei sein und keinen Spachtel unter dem Lack tragen. Der Lack strahlt in einem leuchtenden Gelb, hat jedoch trotzdem eine dezente Patina, wie kleinere Lackrisse, die dem Fahrzeug unglaublich gut stehen und sehr charmant wirken. If you know the history, this is a PRE WAR car (around 1935). And all German industry later was FORCED by the nazis to work for the war production. I am sure, Mercedes and their talented engineers hated to do this. And they are definitely not responsible for the bad decisions made by dictator Hitler. Just my view of the history.

A vehicle cannot know by whom it is heard. However, it was precisely this vehicle that was never in German possession during the war and only came to Germany in the 2000s. @@stringer-ik1pc If you look in the history books, besides Germany very many countries had the great misfortune to have to live as dictatorships for a time, and today is no different - e.g. China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, many Islamic dictatorships and many states in Africa. If you avoid their products, whether it's just cell phones or just bananas, you're going to have to severely curtail your life and you're also hurting the people who have to live under the dictatorship. The Germans themselves have suffered very much under the dictatorship. But Germany is one of the few countries in the world that have completely come to terms with their dictatorship and are now more cosmopolitan, more supportive, more helpful and more democratic than most other countries. Just my 2 cents. And the 500K ist magnificent.

Talking shit. During WW2 mercedes had prisoners of war working in their factories, once it became apparent that they were going to lose they sent them to the concentration camps to be gassed.
