This reminds me of my life. I try my best to suppress all of my woes and memories but the sadness penetrates my mind at the worst times when I can't let it. The depression hits and I'm no longer able to control my mind. It just breaks and my heart aches thinking of how things have gone versus how I should have done things and I know part of life is moving on from mistakes and tragedies. But what happens when you never dealt with those feelings and sorrows? Do they creep up later and fuck up your mental health worse? My heart feels like it'll burst through my chest and I feel the knots tying in my throat and the drips falling from my eyes. Hope isn't enough anymore. Faith isn't enough anymore. I need to face these demons chasing me down and fight them because they wanna see my downfall and I can't lie. I'm scared they'll win.
