I love this song of him ♥♥♥

I totally believe this is the worst song it’s ever been written. It just goes nowhere. The lyrics are pretty good, but the music is boring as hell…. I think it’s the changes. Very immature changes.

I believe that this is the version in the documentary about John Lennon called Imagine, which came out in the late 1980s(?). I bought the soundtrack LP for this song. As much as I love the Beatles, their gussied-up version on the Beatles Anthology, which came out a few years later, doesn't compare to this original. This is by far my favorite version of this song - maybe because it was the first version I heard? It's the same with Grow Old With Me. I prefer the stripped-down version on his Milk and Honey LP to the version where the other Beatles added their contributions.
