I also had such a „bowcrash“. The Tip suddenly broke off. But luckily at home, while practising.

What piece is this?
@BSOrchestraКүн бұрын
It's the Glière Violin Concerto. It was completed by his pupil Boris Lyatoshynsky after his passing in 1956.

Row when I was in middle school in eighth grade for this one Christmas concert we had a conductor so that we could learn how to breathe the conductor. I had no fucking clue what he was doing or what it meant and I eventually quit soon after not because of that, but because I didn’t put enough time and effort into learning the bass clarinet and I slowed, it slowly started to fall behind.

you know that without the conductor they wouldn't be there playing since he is the one who gives the directions during the rehearsals!
@WitchKing-Of-Angmar4 күн бұрын
And yet if he slows down, they will too. They are solely focusing on him to guide them at all times, they also control what they want in the piece via emotion, volume, and signaling solos as well as pickups. They also have tons of fermatas either for a soloist, a chord, or a continuation. They also set you on track, going from 4/4 to 2/4 to 3/4 to 6/8, to 3/16 etc.
