As someone who played Destiny sonce year one, I didn’t even show up or haven’t even played Final Shape. I think to revive the series, it needs some downtime; like a year or two of downtime now that the final shape is done, then pivot towards a Destiny 3. Revamp the game, shake EVERYTHING up (make it so your account can link to your Destiny 2 profile so you can keep all your emotes and ships, cosmetic stuff, if the graphics aren’t different at least). THEN I could see myself at least checking it out again, but we are all just kind of done rn tbh
