Qoocam is not as user friendly as the X4 but you get better results than the X4 if you like to edit. If you just want to shoot video and post it straight out of camera then X4 is the way to go. I sold my X4 for the Ultra and I'm very happy with my choice.

I had some basic expectations about this camera that were not met. For the price the Qoocam 3 Ultra should be just as usable Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 is.

I have the camera too and I like it too much , after watching your video , I think your problem is that you capture them in auto exposure mode . in auto with bright sunlight in takes down exposure value to keep highlight . but you should manually increase exposure time and then you get the nice shot . another thing is you better record in 10bit format that it gives you 2 more stops of dynamic range and color grading potentials . in summery , this camera is not for beginners and need some videography background knowledge

You are right about the color stuff. I have gotten a little lazy in some regards. I am usually multi-tasking with another camera when I am making timelapses. That being said, the color thing would not have helped with the other issues that I had.

What's your opinion of the OSMO? I have an older one. Was thinking about upgrading.

Thus far it is better than the 4. I don't use action cameras like most people do, but I'm running out of things to do. The focus issue I noticed in the four seems to be gone, and the software has improved dramatically. Though I still have a few gripes.

This video has performed better than I ever expected. I never expected anyone to want to know the settings. I did 2s intervals for an average of 14 second clips. I just did auto one every video, as I don’t have time to really experiment. I used filters on a few videos for better color. Every video gets exported at the highest quality every time.

Due to time constraints, I did 2s intervals for an average of 14 second clips. I was not adventurous at all, and just did auto. At some point, I hope to change that. I used filters on a few videos. I exported at the highest quality every time.

I don't get it. Why make a still demonstration of hyperlapse? The whole feature is designed around camera movement.

hello. Cool video. on timelaps water could be replaced by a longer shatter speed or exposure. this would have been a result effect of the shimmering haze.

I recorded several attempts of this one back in July of 2023. I had thought I deleted all the bad ones and kept the one good one. I didn't realize this until you told me. It'll be a bit before I can retry this one.
