This is what it comes to, watching a guy with a chicken bucket on his head and a drummer singing terribly, and not even doing their own song. The music world is in good greasy hands.

My wife and I were walking to see this young guitar player playing with a mandolin player, Don Julin. We had never heard of either. I got sidetracked and started pic’n with some campers. An hour later, my wife scolds me for missing this kid who is channeling Doc and Tony. Lucky for me he played again the following day, his 21rst birthday, at The Albino Skunk Festival. I wrote him into a song that year…we knew he may be the next great one. Doc and Tony always pushed the boundaries too! Nothing but respect!! Festivuuul!!

Don't understand the other comments. I think this is a beautiful tribute to Tony and his music.

Exactly. Remember, before it was Tony's it belonged to Clarence White. The instrument is eternal. It gets passed. The worst thing in the world would be to leave it in the case.

In the end it's only a guitar...whoever manufactured probably expected it would be played. It appears to have been ❤

Billy was and still is a huge fan of Maestro Rice, so I think it was very fitting that he played the The Antique on-stage. I would love to see it in the hands of Wyatt Rice. that would be awesome. Tony loved Wyatt's playing and had him on just about every recording he did.

Nope, it was quite the opposite. Before he played, he addressed the audience to quiet them down and let them know it was Tony's guitar he was about to play and he wanted them to chill and really listen to it.

What an honor for Tony’s widow to let Billy use the holy grail of acoustic guitars.
